ANTOINE MONFAJON

I have been researching ANTOINE FONFAJON, french artist, and i have also done a couple of pages about him in my book. he creates a lot of different styles and types of work which i really admire because it is difficult to adopt several different styles and use them in your own work. he has made abstracts, figurative works, photography, collages and some films which also include commercial videos. some of these can be found on the following link : http://d.monfajon.free.fr/filmspub.htm .
i focused mainly on his collages in my book, because these have a street theme, which match some of the photos i have taken in montparnasse particularly. to complete my project ( i have only done one big painting and one small canvas with a pigeon on it which i might not even use because i dont like it ) i will try to combine different styles. over easter i will probably do some pigeon work in venice, and post the results up later. i might also do some street art work like i have planned in my book, and use photos i took in paris in combination with some insiration from monfajon's collages.
here are some examples of: collages, abstract works, figurative works:

  1. Nice variety of approach - but I think that YOUR work is actually more exciting than his!
